We believe that men are first made Masons in their hearts, then trust that you will ask to join the brotherhood. In doing so we will take you, a good man in your community, and show you a philosophy that will assist you to become a better men.

  • Be loyal to Australia;

Lodge Southern Cross cannot help with legal or immigration problems. We do not accept members who join with an expectation of receiving financial aid from the lodge or other Freemasons.

Each man brings something different into the brotherhood, as different as the types of men that become Masons. But each shares a common core of beliefs and of dreams; each believes that, in a small way, by their actions they help make their world, their communities, and themselves better. If our ideals and goals interest you, we invite you to contact us and join us on the journey. Here are a few suggestions that might assist you:

  • Ask a Lodge Southern Cross member that you know, or one who lives or works nearby, on how you can join.
  • If you don’t know a Freemason then contact us and arrange to meet one of our Lodge Members in person. When you meet, ask him how you can become a Freemason.
