Fees

Membership Fees Explained

After you have attended some lodge dinners and your membership application has been accepted you will be asked to pay an Initiation fee of $300. This covers a number of aspects of your initiation including your registration with the United Grand Lodge of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory UGLNSWACT, subscription to the Freemason Magazine, Grand Lodge Certificates and books.

In addition to your initiation fee, every Lodge Southern Cross member pays a monthly contribution of $35 ($420 per annum) payable in advance every June to the lodge. This covers membership, venue and lodge administrative costs.

Every meeting concludes with a fraternal dinner and small charge of $55 is made for the meal. The meal includes beer / wine / soft drinks.

It is entirely up to you what you provide to charitable causes, but it should always be without detriment to your family or professional responsibilities.
